The Astronomy Images Itinerant Exhibition  has opened a NEW LENDING PERIOD for 2016, we invite you to make reservations of the Exhibition for Schools and Educational and Cultural Institutions for the year 2016. Revise the 2016 Calendar and select your date. Remember you can choose a period of up to one or two weeks.

The Itinerant Exhibition,  a project promoted by  Dr. Nikolaus Vogt, of the Instituto de Física y Astronomía of the U. de Valparaíso, and available to Schools and Cultural Centers or Municipalities, is an impressive exhibition of astronomical images of the scientific project  "Nucleo Milenio para la Vía Láctea",  in which Dr. Jura Borissova of the Instituto de Física y Astronomía of the U. de Valparaíso collaborates together with Dr. Marcio Catelán  and his team from the  Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, in Santiago.
 
The aim of this exhibition is to do outreach in Astronomy Science through impressive colour photographs of nebulae, star clusters, supernova remnants and other deep sky objects.

How to  reserve it:

1.- Download the form and fill it on with the information required and send it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Indicate the selected exhibition period available by checking out our  2016 Calendar.

2.- If you wish to ask for an inaugural Astronomy Talk for your Exhibition, feel free to ask for one and mention it is for said Exhibition.

3.- You will be contacted one week before the date fixed for the Exhibition for coordinating the date and hour when it can be picked up. After the event the event it must be returned to the Instituto de Física y Astronomía.

** IFA reserves for itself the use of the Itinerant Exhibition in case of special internal use, coordinating a new date to satisfaction of the affected party.
