About Me
I am a theoretical (astro)physicist based at the Universidad de Valparaiso in Chile. I obtained my PhD at the University of Nottingham, UK.

About my work
My overall area of research is in numerical simulations in physics and astrophysics. Specifically I am interested in:
- Cosmology and extragalactic astrophysics
- Modified gravity theories, such as MOND
- Numerical relativity
(for more details see my research page)
I currently teach undergraduate courses in Electromagnetism, Parallel Programming (also offered as a Masters course) and an introductory course about scientific computation. In the past I have also taught the graduate course Cosmological Simulations, a final-year elective on General Relativity and the undergraduate courses Lagrangian/Hamiltonian Dynamics and Thermodynamics.
