Evolutionary study and characterization of protoplanetary disks around stars of low mass in the Orion star forming region.
My main research projects are related to the evolutionary study and characterization of protoplanetary discs around low mass stars in the Orion star forming region using observational data in the optical and infrared as well as theoretical models of irradiated discs. I am currently working on a spectroscopic study in the Sigma Ori cluster in order to study the external photoevaporation of the discs due to UV radiation from the massive stars in their center. I am also interested in studying discs around Herbig Ae/Be stars and intermediate mass stars.
