Research
Galaxy evolution, galaxy clusters, large scale structure.
Most of my research is focused on the understanding of galaxy formation and evolution as a function of cosmic time and environment. In particular, I study the different physical processes that affect galaxies in clusters, groups and cosmic filaments, combining multi-wavelength data with cosmological simulations. I am part of several international collaborations, including GASP, which is dedicated to understanding the gas cycle of galaxies in the so-called “jellyfish galaxies” in great detail.
